About Gran Turismo 7
Gran Turismo 7 is the first installment of the incredibly popular series of racing simulators to be designed with the technical capabilities of the PlayStation 4 console in mind. Polyphony Digital, led by Kazunori Yamauchi, is the studio responsible for developing the production.
Similarly to the previous titles of the cycle, the players can test their racing skills by driving one of the numerous available vehicles, ranging from ordinary passenger cars to legendary racing machines. The creators have prepared a varied set of tracks, which includes both closed routes and public areas.
Polyphony Digital has put a lot of effort into making the gameplay seem as realistic as possible; the extremely advanced system, based on the solutions from Gran Turismo 6, takes a number of factors which influence the car during a race into consideration, including speed, aerodynamics, the suspension type, the surface and the weather.
The production offers several game modes both in the single and the multiplayer mode. By progressing in the game you can acquire new elements, e.g. additional vehicles or racing tracks; the new expanded statistics system, which allows you to compare scores with other players, also deserves mentioning.
Changing the platform for a more effective one allowed the dev team from the Polyphony Digital studio to hugely improve the graphics in comparison to the last installment of Gran Turismo, the car models available in the game have been designed with great attention towards details and are on a very high technical level.
