About Warlocks 2: God Slayers
Warlocks 2: God Slayers for PC is a sequel to Warlocks vs Shadows, a game that was released in 2015. The new game was developed by an independent Polish studio, Frozen District – the creators of the first entry in the series.
In Warlocks 2: God Slayers for PC the players participate in a completely new story. This time they must face the gods who were displeased with the fact that the protagonists killed monsters. The Order of the Warlocks must face them while also defeating lesser, but still dangerous opponents.
The game is a two-dimensional action RPG hack’n’slash. The gameplay mechanics from the first entry in the series were expanded and the action-based combat now provides more possibilities for the players. Most of all, character classes (five in total) along with a development system were introduced – during the game players obtain new abilities that are unlocked through a simple tree. What’s interesting, it is possible to add new features to them, for example making spells more powerful.
Combat improvements aren’t all. In the first game the levels were rather small and lacked many exploration possibilities. In Warlocks 2: God Slayers it was improved and the levels are more expansive. Additionally, each of the three visited worlds is more varied and inhabited by differently behaving creatures.
The opponents are more intelligent and they cooperate with each other while attacking the player. In addition to that, there are various types of enemies (more than forty), each with a different set of skills and behaviors. The players must learn how they act in order to be more proficient in combat. The title also features battles with powerful bosses.
Warlocks 2: God Slayers for PC can be played alone or in multiplayer modes. The story campaign can be completed in either a singleplayer mode, or in local or online cooperation (with up to three other players).
In addition to story quests, the game features randomly generated side missions, during which players can obtain randomly generated loot. During each of these missions players have no clue where the enemies are placed, what types do they represent and what can be obtained for completing the task.
